FleXILO Tank Sizes

The FleXILO is the best pellet storage system available. The innovation is ideal for damp storage rooms, or where space in limited. The FleXILO is particularly suited for low cellars making it the perfect choice for renovation and restoration projects.

The FleXILO Plus is the ideal solution for storage rooms with less space und low ceiling.

The vibrating conical extractor enables about 20% more storage capacity. Especially in the case of renovation the new tank with 1600mm height is suited for the low cellars. 
The new types offer the best storage form for your local curcumstances.

FleXILO sizing

The tank size depends on the building heat load. Assuming typical heating conditions, the following will help you to estimate the size of the FlexiTank required: for every 1kW of heat load, plan for an annual consumption of 320kg of pellets.

Examples:

Heat load 12 kW x 320 kg = 3840 kg…….FlexiTank S2822H or S280H

Heat load 10 kW x 320 kg = 3200 kg…….FlexiTank S2819H

Heat load 7 kW x 320 kg = 2240 kg………FlexiTank S190H

Filling a FleXILO Pellet Store

Pellets are delivered by tanker truck and are blown into the store room or the FlexiTank. The truck’s pumping hose is max. 20 m length, so the FlexiTank (or rather the filler coupling) must be no more than 20m from the drive, parking space or road. If possible, the FlexiTank room should border at least one exterior wall, since the filler coupling must be accessible from the outside. Where this is not possible, ventilation and filling pipes must be routed to a filler coupling on the outside of the building. The boiler room should also have at least one exterior wall in order to allow direct ventilation. For boiler rooms, which do not border an exterior wall, a ventilation pipe (at least 200 cm2) must be routed to an exterior wall.
